Among other things, he confirmed that Microsoft’s discussions with Yahoo have continued, predicted that in 10 years all media will be delivered via the Internet and professed that he is confused by Google’s moves in the mobile-phone market. ”
While Ballmer makes some wide-eyed predictions that teeter on accuracy, his confusion over Google is laughable. This is a guy who’s trying to save his own company from being decimated by Google, and he “has no clue what Google’s up to.” Really? If I can figure it out, and Steve Ballmer cannot, then Microsoft really is lost.
